In 2007, when we started this project, we never would have dreamed that we’d achieve so much in such a short time. We had been missing the warmth and affection that one can find in La Rioja wines, when and if you work carefully, reducing yields in search of personality, maturity, potentcy and subtlety. Warmth and affection shines through the fruit: It’s part of our character.

With such high standards, it took years of hard work to finally present our first harvest to market. These are wines that already feel important: respectful of the traditions of one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, but without forgetting our overarching philosophy: Sensitivity and creativity in the winemaking process, borne from hard work.
We are now firmly on a road that we hope to continue travelling for years to come - without losing the curiosity and innocence of those first days in thrall to our first tastes of Garnache’s and Tempranillos untypical of the region.
Planted in a calcium and clay rich soil that maintains its temperature - vital for withstanding the extreme variations typical of the region - the vines themselves are perfectly suited to the production of classically full bodied, strong wines. Protected from the wind by the hills that shelter the Ebro valley, planted on higher slopes, preventing the risk of frost and with a average age of between 20 and 25 years, the vines are perfectly situated in terms of production and for quality.
Our La Rioja wines are typically elaborated with a coupage of Tempranillo and Garnache, occasionally adding local grape varieties such as Graciano or Mazuelo.
